Generally haute couture is all about extravagant pieces which are very creative, but not always wearable for the majority. However, there is one collection which everyone will be wanting to include in their fall/winter wardrobe this year, and that is Armani Prive Haute Couture F/W 08.
Each piece oozes luxury, elegance and haute couture-ness with the type of material and detail used, but they are all still very wearable. The collection itself consists of very winter colours, with a few pastels thrown in to break things up. Throughout the whole collection, there is a very consistent flow of masculine pieces but with very feminine cuts. There is definitely something for everybody from the structured suits, fitted dresses to floaty gowns, it certainly is an impressive collection.
It’s interesting to see that the bow trend seems to continue onto next season, so hold onto any current bow pieces you have, because no doubt you will still be wanting to wear them! As for accessories, i love the use of pearls and gemstones….very classic and almost romantic! I also give a big thumbs up to the clutch bags/boxes, and the oversized clutches which give me more of an excuse to go out and buy one!
The more i look at these pieces the more i love them. Beautiful tailoring, gorgeous accessories and very wearable. It’s smart, sophisticated, powerful yet soft and feminine. Here are a few of my favourites….

AP never fails to dazzle, be it the cuts or the details. And killer accessories, as always. You are so right about the wearability part!
